Our partner, Al Motaqadimah International Schools, has utilized internal standard-based exams, also known as benchmark exams, to assess students' mastery of specific learning objectives and standards. Additionally, they employed AIM (Assessment for Individualized Mastery), an assessment specifically designed to evaluate the progress and growth of at-risk students in developing essential skills.

What Was The Project About?

Al Motaqadimah already uses Classera LMS, but they needed a well-tailored solution to manage exams. They aimed to:

1. Measure Student Proficiency: Standard-based exams aim to assess students' proficiency in specific learning standards across various subjects and grade levels.
2. Evaluate Academic Growth: These exams help track students' progress and growth over time, providing a clear picture of their development and identifying areas of improvement.
3. Inform Instructional Decision-Making: Standard-based exams provide valuable data to inform instructional planning and decision-making.
4. Personalize Learning: By identifying areas of strength and weakness through standard-based exams, educators can personalize learning experiences.

Challenges Al- Motaqadimah Schools Faced

- The lack of engagement with regular exams to assess students’ performance

• Empower the school through one-central module on Classera LMS (Central Exam) to distribute exams in specific classes under the same school.

• Create accounts for each teacher and supervisor.

• Offer courses for all involved beneficiaries to know how to upload data, exams, and more.

• Provide training for technical calibers in each school to know how to distribute login credentials for all users.

• Customize the exam based on different international criteria.

• Uncover all students’ interactions and other valuable insights to have a full picture of classes’ performance.

Results:

• +80% of students have participated in central exam platform to take assessments.

• All exams and evaluations have been processed through the platform after experiencing smooth process.

• Submission success of present students reached 100%.

• Activate the courses templates (including standards and criteria) and upload it.
